This is one great smoothie recipe! By the way, if you only have the fruit and almond milk, you will still have a great smoothie!
cherry banana smoothie
1 hand-full frozen dark cherries 1/2 frozen banana 1 1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened) 2 Tablespoons coconut oil 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed or flax oil 1 scoop JayRobb unflavored protein powder (1 scoop=26g protein)
- Toss all ingredients into a blender. (I use my trusty Ninja Master Prep that I've had for 3 years:)
- Blend until smooth consistency you desire.
- Drink up!
tip: I love to freeze my fruit because it makes my drinks icy cold. When freezing fruit, place the cut or individual pieces of fruit on a tray in the freezer. Once they are frozen, place them in a freezer bag, then store in the freezer.
