my sister, my hero!

My sister... her strength amazes me!
She is so awesome - If you don't know her, you're really missing out! Some words that describe her... super nurse, genius, beautiful, loyal, brave, strong.... I could go on and on :)

For example... About 12ish years ago, we were involved in a car accident on a highway in Tennessee. A pick-up truck had lost control while passing us. The truck flipped over in front of us several times before stopping, upside down in the grass off the highway. The driver of the truck had been thrown to the passenger side of his truck, with his feet hanging out the window. (Don't worry about us- We were ok, and stopped on side of the road.)  However; before I came to a complete stop, my sister had already jumped out the door and was running toward the wreckage to help the man. She helped him, and we waited there until help arrived. This is the day that I began to call her Super Nurse!  She is so strong and brave! 

This past year has been the most difficult for our family... ever! Through it all, God has been faithful, and I know He always will be! And this sister of mine... well... she's the bomb-dot-com! She does so much for our family, and I love her so much!
