God speaks in interesting ways

I want God to use me more than ever before. I’m always asking God what the next big thing he wants me to do for him. I have so many ideas spinning in my head…

“But God, when do you want me to do that idea? Oh, how about this one, God? Is it time for it now?”

(You get the picture, right?)

God keeps showing me the numbers 333. These numbers stand out to me so many places that I go. It has been the total on my receipts, my hotel room number, exit number, etc. Then, during some quiet time with God, I read this scripture… actually, it jumped out at me!

“Call to Me, and I will answer you,
and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know”
- Jeremiah 33:3

How exciting is that?
If I ask God, he will show it to me!

I wrote the verse on a post-it note and stuck it to the wall over the desk in my office. I also posted it inside my planner. I even took a screenshot of it and saved it to my phone! Then, it was used as the verse in a message at church on the following Sunday.

One day, I was driving in North Carolina, I was stopped at a traffic light, exiting the interstate.
Guess what happened!

A fire truck stopped right in front of me. No vehicles were in front of the truck, and it had a green light…. yet it stopped in front of me, right in middle of the intersection. What makes it even more interesting is this. I saw the number 33 on the side of the truck. Then it moved forward just a bit and stopped again. I saw the number 3 on the back of the truck.

I can’t make this stuff up!

God quickly reminded me of ‘the verse’.
So I did it!
Right there in my car… I called on God, and asked him to show me things. He began revealing more and more of things he wanted to show me. Not all at once, of course. LOL

You know what, I’m still praying this verse, and I’m never gonna stop. I want to always hear what God has to say to me!

God, I’m calling on you now to show me great and mighty things. I trust you. Please speak to me, and let nothing distract me from hearing your voice. Please speak to me in scripture, dreams, visions, numbers,… anyway you please. I am listening!
